About Me

I have had an affinity for flowers for as long as I can remember.

I guess it started from picking and making daisy chains from off the playing field to putting a few flowers together in my mums flower shop after school. The colours, textures, shapes, sizes and smells all gave me a buzz and before you knew it I'd be creating something beautiful. Not really knowing how, it just happened; guess it was just a natural love.

I pursued my passion at Brooksby College in Melton Mowbray. At 18 I opened my first shop. It was hard work and didn't go without a lot of tears along the way, but in return I won respect, compliments and a lot of hugs and kisses.

Now at 36, I'm specialising in Wedding and Event Flowers, so I'm still doing what I love and I'm still excited about the next event.

People ask if I have a favourite flower... I love flowers generally, some look good with others some are better on their own, some work in one colour, some need more colours to make them look good. There's such an array of flowers it would be unfair to single just one...

So that's me and my journey and I hope you will be part of it and in return I'll turn your dreams into reality for that special occasion.
